Sidharth Malhotra stars as Arun Katyal, an army soldier and a member of the Yodha Task Force. Raashii Khanna plays Priyamvada "Priya" Katyal, Arun's wife, while Disha Patani portrays Laila Khalid, a flight attendant. The film also stars Ronit Roy as Major Surender Katyal, Arun's father and the founder of the Yodha Task Force, and Sunny Hinduja as Jalal, a terrorist affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. The supporting cast includes Tanuj Virwani, Kritika Bhardwaj, S. M. Zaheer, and others.

Production and Development

Yodha was produced by major production houses including Amazon MGM Studios, Dharma Productions, and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. The film's cinematography was handled by Jishnu Bhattacharjee, with editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. The music was composed by a team including Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, B Praak, Aditya Dev, and John Stewart Eduri, who also composed the background score.

Release and Reception

The film was originally scheduled for release on 7 July 2023 but faced multiple delays. It was postponed to 8 December 2023 before finally being released theatrically on 15 March 2024. Despite significant marketing efforts, Yodha performed below expectations at the box office, earning ₹60 crore against a budget of ₹50 crore, categorizing it as a below-average performer.

Other Media and Marketing

To complement the movie's release, a tie-in comic titled Adventures of Yodha: The Case of the Missing Ship was published by Pratilipi Comics. The comic was written by Akash Pathak and illustrated by Ayantika Roy, serving as an additional narrative that expanded on the film's universe.

Though Yodha did not achieve blockbuster status, it featured notable performances and was part of a broader marketing strategy that included cross-media storytelling.
