Turbo is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language action-comedy film directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The movie is produced by Mammootty under his banner, Mammootty Kampany. Mammootty stars in the lead role as the character Aruvipurathu Jose, also known as Turbo Jose. The film features a strong supporting cast, including Raj B. Shetty, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Niranjana Anoop, Bindu Panicker, Dileesh Pothan, and Shabareesh Varma.
The music for the film was composed by Christo Xavier, while Vishnu Sarma handled the cinematography, and Shameer Muhammed took care of the editing.
Turbo was released in theaters on 23 May 2024 and received mixed reviews from critics.

Production
The film was officially announced on 24 October 2023, and principal photography began in October 2023 in Coimbatore. The filming wrapped up on 18 February 2024. The movie had a budget of approximately ₹70 crore.
Music
Christo Xavier composed the music and background score. The lyrics were written by Vinayak Sasikumar, Vaisakh Sugunan, and SVDP. The "Turbo Trailer Theme" was released on 12 May 2024, followed by the first single, "Burnout The Engine," on 29 May 2024. The second single, "Maayika Maname," was released on 5 June 2024.
Release
Turbo was released in theaters on 23 May 2024. The digital streaming rights were acquired by SonyLIV, and the film premiered on the platform on 9 August 2024. Zee Keralam acquired the satellite rights.
Reception
Box Office On its opening day, Turbo earned ₹6.25 crore from Kerala, and ₹3.40 crore in India. By the end of its second day, the film grossed ₹8.1 crore worldwide, bringing the total to ₹15.50 crore. In its first week, the film grossed ₹58 crore worldwide, with ₹29.5 crore from India and ₹28.5 crore from overseas.
