Production Notes
The film was announced in July 2022 with Ashok Selvan in the lead role. C. S. Karthikeyan, who previously worked as an assistant director on Kamal Haasan's films, made his directorial debut with this project. Music was composed by Leon James, known for his work in Oh My Kadavule. Filming began in 2022, with the title revealed and the teaser released on 25 April 2023. The trailer was released on 25 November 2023.
Release and Reception
Originally set for release on 15 December 2023, the film was delayed due to post-production issues and certification delays caused by Cyclone Michaung. It eventually released on 22 December 2023. The film received positive reviews from critics and audiences and was a commercial success.

The film's streaming and satellite rights were acquired by Disney+ Hotstar and Star Vijay. It premiered digitally on 14 February 2024, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
